Laguna Pressure-Flo Filters are high performance water filtering systems that keep pond water clean and healthy. These all-in-one filters provide mechanical, biological* and UV sterilization and are designed to work in tandem with a solids handling pumps such as Laguna’s Max-Flo.

PowerFlo Max Biological Underwater Filter

The Laguna PowerFlo Max Biological Underwater Filter is ideal for use in ponds that contain fish. The filter provides the same powerful mechanical filtration as the PowerFlo, plus it features biological filtration with Laguna’s patented Bio-Max filter material. The efficient ceramic media provides a huge surface area for beneficial bacteria to thrive. This media will support the decomposition of ammonia and nitrite to less harmful nitrate that can be controlled by aquatic plants and water changes. The end result is that the filter protects the pump from clogging and keeps water clean and clear. The filter can be installed near the edge of the pond for quick and easy access and maintenance.

The unit features three large-capacity filter chambers that can accommodate special filter pads as well as biological and chemical media. All chambers include a handle for easy removal and cleaning. As water flows through the media chambers, it is thoroughly cleansed and filtered. The result is clean and healthy pond water for fish and plants to thrive in.
PowerFlo Filter Falls includes a 19-inch wide spillway that creates an attractive waterfall. Threaded bulkheads on the spillway allow you to divert water to small waterfalls, streams or other filters.

The Laguna PowerFlo UnderWater Round Filter is equipped with a large 19 inch surface that allows water to flow through easily while trapping suspended debris. The filter comes complete with mechanical, chemical and biological filter media. The result is clean and healthy pond water and a significant reduction in the frequency of clogging in water pumps and fountain heads. Its unique shape is ideal for a number of applications including whiskey barrels, patio & deck basins, and ponds up to 500 US gallons (1892 L). The low-profile design is perfect for ponds or containers as shallow as 5 inches (18 cm). In addition, it can provide a stable base for fountainheads and two pond lights.

PowerFlo 1000 External Biological Filter

Laguna PowerFlo External Biological Filter 1000 is ideal for larger ponds up to 1000 US gallons (4500L). The filter features an efficient 3-tiered filtering system that provides complete mechanical and biological filtration. The top tray houses pumice filter material (included) which provides mechanical and biological filtration. Below the top tray, a foam pad (also included) performs mechanical filtration. The bottom tray is designed to hold the biological media of your choice, such as Laguna Bio-Max(not included). The trays have convenient handles which allow you to remove them easily. Other features include a built-in drain plug and two outlets for creating waterfalls or connecting to other pond equipment such as a UV Sterilizer. The filter is designed to be installed outside the pond, which allows easy access for maintenance. A Universal Click-Fit coupling for 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" inlet tubing is also included.
